The Senior Research Specialist works in collaboration with individuals in the lab and will support daily laboratory operation, participate in the writing of grant proposals, human IRB protocols, and in the development of laboratory tests. Supports Flow cytometry, Genomics, and Cell imaging in our research facility at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. The facility is responsible for providing routine, Genomics, Flow cytometry, and advanced Imaging services to investigators. S/he makes intellectual contributions in a specialized scientific lab or core facility that utilizes sophisticated instrumentation. Examples of core facilities utilizing sophisticated instrumentation include flow cytometry, high throughput genetics, x-ray crystallography, mass spectrometry, peptide synthesizer, and high-performance liquid chromatography.
