The Clinical Translational Science Shared Resource (CTSSR) Director functions as the leader of the CTSSR within the Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC); oversees and manages all operations and activities of the core facility; works closely with clinical and translational scientists on the design and development of correlative studies associated with solid tumor oncology clinical trials; responsible to the OSUCCC Associate Director for Shared Resources for the performance of the CTSSR.   


Education and Experience

A Doctoral degree in a scientific discipline or related field of cancer research or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Doctoral degree in a biomedical science field strongly preferred; considerable demonstrated success in a progressively responsible management capacity required; strategic or long-range planning experience required. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $160,000/yr to $170,000/yr
